Types of brand personification on the Czech market
Nierostková, Klára ; Klabíková Rábová, Tereza (advisor) ; Konrádová, Marcela (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with types of brand personification on the Czech market. The aim of the thesis is to describe different models of personification and their division based on the AMOP structure. The thesis serves to summarize the basic information on this topic and compare it with the actual advertisements that we could or still can see on the Czech market. This summary has been created in order to bring together the various theories contained in the literature, as this topic, despite its great application in practice, is not given much attention and a substantive summary of this information is basically non-existent. The knowledge contained in the theoretical part is reflected in the practical part, as some of the questions for the unstructured interviews with practitioners were designed so that the respondents respond to the content of the theoretical part with their knowledge and opinions that they have developed over years of practice and use of brand personification. The responses of the practitioners are compared to see the agreements and disagreements in their views.
Bills of exchange in the recent practice with special regard to types and admissibility of causal objections and relating decision-making
Švarc, Jan ; Horáček, Vít (advisor) ; Elek, Štefan (referee)
in English The thesis aims especially on questions concerning law of exchange which are not satisfactorily answered yet neither by academical community nor by judicial decisions made by the Czech courts and those which should be, from the point of my view, answered differently. In the first chapter, I tried to critically review various doctrinal definitions of bill of exchange and to draw up my own definition which affects bill of exchange complexly in its entireness. Second chapter is divided into three subdivisions chronologically. First subdivision refers to proofs of ancient documents congenial to contemporary bills of exchange. I have come to conclusion that the existence of bills of exchange can be proven as far as the beginning of the first millenium. Institute simmilar to the one of bill of exchange may be found in the Roman civil law. The second subdivision of second chapter assays medieval bills of exchange very thoroughly more than any other thesis on the same subject. All my ideas given are supported by quotations. The third subdivision briefly explains development of law of exchange in the modern period. The third chapter is dedicated to the general purpose of law of exchange and its modern usage with extra amount of attention paid to blank bills of exchange and collateral drafts....

Martinovský, Marek ; Moravec, Václav (advisor) ; Štoll, Martin (referee)
Author: Marek Martinovský Thesis name: Candidate endorsement in media under Economia, Ltd. before the Czech presidential election 2013 and 2018 Abstract The subject matter of this thesis is to analyse the phenomenon of media endorsement during the Czech presidential elections of 2013 and 2018 in the Czech media landscape. The sample consists of media outputs of two select media under the Economia publishing house, namely Hospodářské noviny and the Aktuálně.cz news website, 14 days prior to the second round of both elections. The paper discusses various theoretical aspects of newspaper endorsement in - mostly US - media and briefly presents examples in the Czech ones as well. The core of the thesis is a quantitative content analysis via which we can attain the volume of explicit and implicit candidate support in select media, as well as find any correlation with the concrete examples of endorsement in both outlets. The secondary goal of the thesis is to provide data about the previously unmapped terrain of endorsement during the 2018 Czech presidential election
Bill of exchange, its characteristics and functions in the light of historical background and case law until present
Rác, David ; Zahradníčková, Marie (referee)
Within this thesis, I analyze my knowledge of the bill of exchange, especially the development of the bill of exchange and the current law in action practise. The main part of this thesis is devoted to the security function of the bill of exchange, which is currently the dominant. But I also paid attention to other bill of exchange instruments. The thesis is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter I discuss the historical development of the bill of exchange, focusing on the development in the Czech lands, with emphasis on the period 1918-1938, called The First republic. The second chapter is devoted to the characteristics of bills of Exchange law and its status in the legal system of the Czech Republic. The third chapter deals with the individual bill of exchange functions. The major part of this chapter is being devoted to the security function, which is recently the most frequent in action. Here I describe the effect and purpose for which they are issued, following the features of the bill of Exchange. Nescience of those features often results to the duty to fulfill the debt two times, however there is no substantive basis for such an action. This chapter also contains the proceeding of crooked endorsement, accompanied by jurisprudence in this matter. In conclusion, I complete the...

Author: Jana Leichterová Name of the thesis: Selected examples of institutionalized journalistic support (endorsement) before the elections in the Czech Republic after 1989 Abstract Endorsement as a form of media support for a specific political actor is a traditional part of a media sphere in the United States of America and the United Kingdom, especially in a period preceding important elections. In the Czech Republic, this concept is generally considered to be new. The main aim of this thesis is to establish the concept of endorsement within the context of Czech media.
